Macaroni Soup Recipes. Hong Kong Style.

Oyster Mushroom & Baby Carrot Macaroni Soup

Ingredients:
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Mushroom Flavor)
- Oyster Mushroom, cut in the size of macaroni
- Baby Carrot, chopped in the size of macaroni
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530 ml of water to boil in a pot in high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add chopped carrots, turn the fire to low, put the lid on and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Turn the fire back up to high, add Oyster mushroom pieces, turn the fire back to low, put the lid back on and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Turn the fire back up to high, add the macaroni, turn the fire back to low, put the lid back on and let it simmer for another 3 minutes.
5. Then you’re done! Before you serve, add a few drops of sesame oil and a dash of white pepper.
Abalone & Shiitake Mushroom Macaroni Soup

Ingredients:
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Abalone & Chicken Flavor)
- Shiitake Mushroom, stems removed, cut in the size of macaroni
- Abalone, cooked, cut in the size of macaroni
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530 ml of water to boil in a pot in high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add macaroni and chopped mushrooms, turn the fire to low, put the lid on and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
3. 3 minutes later, turn the fire back up to high, add the chopped abalone, mix well, then remove from heat.
5. Then you’re done! Before you serve, add a pinch of white pepper and a few drops of sesame oil.
Grilled Chicken & Corn Macaroni Soup

Ingredients:
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Chicken Broth Flavor)
- Grilled Chicken, cut into bite size;
- Corn, off the cob
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530 ml of water to boil in a pot in high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add macaroni and chopped mushrooms, turn the fire to low, put the lid on and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
3. 3 minutes later, turn the fire back up to high, add the chopped abalone, mix well, then remove from heat.
5. Then you’re done! Before you serve, add a pinch of white pepper and a few drops of sesame oil.
Wonton & Celery Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Wonton Flavor)
- Wonton
- Celery, chopped in the size of macaroni
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530ml of water to boil in a pot in high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add wonton and chopped celery, let them simmer in medium low low heat for 5 minutes.
3. 5 minutes later, add macaroni, turn the fire to low, put the lid on and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Then you’re done! Before you serve, add a pinch of white pepper and a few drops of sesame oil.
Ham, Corn & Hard Boiled Egg Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Japanese Pork Bone Flavor)
- Ham, chopped in the size of macaroni
- Corn, off the cob
- Egg, boiled for 7 minutes, de-shelled and halved
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530ml of water to boil in a pot in high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add macaroni and corn, let them simmer in medium low heat for 3 minutes.
3. 3 minutes later, add ham.
4. Remove it from heat. Add the hard boiled egg. Then, you’re done! Before you serve, add a pinch of white pepper and a few drops of sesame oil.
Shrimp & Soy Bean Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Shrimp Broth Flavor)
- Shrimp, de-shelled, deveined and chopped in the size of macaroni
- Soy Bean, deshelled
Cooking Steps:
1. Season the chopped shrimp with salt and pepper.
2. Bring 530ml of water to boil in a pot in high heat, add soup base powder.
3. Once the soup base boils, add macaroni and soy beans, let them simmer in medium low heat for 3 minutes.
3. 3 minutes later, add shrimp. Cook till they turn orange and solid white color.
4. Then, you’re done! Before you serve, add a pinch of white pepper and a few drops of sesame oil.
Pork, Spinach & Tung Choi Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Tung Choi Flavor)
- Pork, minced, ¼ lbs
- Spinach
- Tung Choi
Marination for ¼ lbs minced pork
- Soy Sauce ½ tbsp
- Corn Starch ½ tsp
- Chicken Powder ⅛ tsp
- Sugar ⅓ tsp
- Water ½ tsp
- Veggie Oil ¼ tsp
- Shaoxing Wine ¼ tsp
- White Pepper, a dash
Cooking Steps:
1. Marinate the minced pork and let it sit for 20 minutes if you have time.
2. Stir fry the minced pork in an oiled pot on medium heat till they are no longer pink, add Tung Choi at the end and stir fry the mixture for 15 seconds before putting them aside.
3. In the same pot, add 530ml of water and bring it to boil on high heat, add soup base powder.
Once the soup base boils, add macaroni, let them simmer in medium low heat for 3 minutes.
4. 3 minutes later, add spinach, turn off the fire.
5. Add back the tung choi minced pork mix back into the soup macaroni. Then, you’re done!
Beef Ball & Cherry Tomato Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (Beef Flavor)
- Beef Balls, chopped into the size of the macaroni
- Cherry Tomatoes, halved
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530ml of water to boil on high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add chopped beef balls, simmer them in medium low heat for 5 minutes.
3. 5 minutes later, turn the heat up to high, add macaroni and halved cherry tomatoes, then let them simmer in medium low heat for 3 minutes.
4. 3 minutes later, remove it from heat.
5. Sprinkle a dash of white pepper before serving.
Char Siu & Bok Choy Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- Knorr Quick Serve Macaroni (BBQFlavor)
- Char Siu, homemade or store bought, cut into the size of the macaroni
- Bok Choy, Stems only, Chopped into the size of macaroni
Cooking Steps:
1. Bring 530ml of water to boil on high heat, add soup base powder.
2. Once the soup base boils, add chopped bok choy and macaroni, simmer them in medium low heat for 3 minutes.
3. 3 minutes later, mix well. Then add Char Siu pieces, then remove from heat.
4. Sprinkle a dash of white pepper and add a few drops of sesame oil before serving.
